Our Story
Maple Tree was founded in memory of a beloved friend who, during her battle with leukemia, dreamed of bringing happiness to children in hospitals. Though she is no longer with us, her wish became the seed of something greater.
Led by a team of dedicated young people, Maple Tree has grown into a movement driven by purpose and heart. From environmental initiatives and awareness campaigns to community support and school programs, our work reflects the energy and empathy of the next generation. We believe that real change starts with small, meaningful actions and we’re here to lead that change together.
Maple Tree is a youth-led nonprofit working across several key areas to build a cleaner, greener, and more compassionate world:
Reforestation & Tree Planting
In response to the declining number of trees and shrinking green areas, Maple Tree is actively engaged in reforestation efforts. We focus on planting oak trees strong, long-living species that help restore ecological balance, enrich biodiversity, and improve air quality. By increasing green cover, we aim to boost oxygen levels and create healthier environments for generations to come.
Renewable Energy Initiatives
At Maple Tree, we are committed to reducing reliance on fossil fuels by promoting clean, renewable energy solutions. Our programs focus on training individuals in the design and installation of solar energy systems. We not only equip them with the knowledge and skills they need we also provide technical support as they begin working on real projects. Together, we’re building a greener, more energy resilient future.
Research Center
Tackling Pollution for a Healthier Future
At Maple Tree, our commitment to environmental health
goes beyond action it’s grounded in science. Our Research Center is dedicated to
continuously studying key environmental challenges such as water pollution, soil
contamination, and air pollution.
Through ongoing research, data collection, and
analysis, we work to better understand the sources and impacts of pollution in our region.
This knowledge guides our initiatives and empowers communities with practical solutions for
cleaner water, healthier soil, and safer air.
Our center also serves as a resource
hub supporting innovation, educating the public, and inspiring evidence-based environmental
action.
Sustainable Agriculture & Farmer Training
At Maple Tree, we believe that a healthy environment starts with healthy farming practices. That’s why we train and support local farmers in adopting sustainable agriculture techniques that protect the land, conserve water, and boost productivity.
By promoting sustainable agriculture, we aim to empower communities, protect natural resources, and ensure a healthier future for both people and the planet.
Social Support & Inclusion
At Maple Tree, we believe sustainability begins with people. Our social initiatives are dedicated to supporting less fortunate communities and nurturing a culture of care and inclusion.
We actively support:
- Children battling cancer
- A specialized school for individuals with Down syndrome
- Orphanage houses and children without families
- Nursing Home
Through social activities, mental health support, and fulfilling wish lists, we bring joy and dignity to those who need it most. We aim to create moments of happiness that leave a lasting impact.
In addition, we are committed to building a strong volunteering culture. We encourage young people to join our campaigns, where they can give back to their community, develop new skills, and grow personally and professionally. Volunteering at Maple Tree is more than service it’s a path to empowerment, learning, and unity.
